Luke 3:11 Ministries operates on the biblical principle of sharing abundance with those in need: *"Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same."* The ministry provides direct, barrier-free assistance to the local community, focusing primarily on food security, hygiene dignity, and youth support.

## Core Initiatives

### Peanut Butter Jelly (PBJ) Truck
- **Mission:** Distributing free peanut butter and jelly sandwiches across Marion, Ohio.
- **Infrastructure:** Operates using a fleet of 3 antique ice cream trucks converted for food service.
- **Schedule:** Active in various neighborhoods every afternoon of the week.
- **Impact:** Serves tens of thousands of meals annually to local children and families (36,000+ meals per year). Established October 20, 2019.

### Lumpy Loads of Laundry
Established February 9, 2019, this dedicated branch focuses on community hygiene dignity through three active projects:
- **Free Laundry Detergent:** Collects empty laundry detergent jugs, cleans and refills them with homemade liquid detergent, and distributes them via local food pantry partners at no cost.
- **Mobile Laundry Service:** Volunteers collect dirty laundry directly from eligible disabled patrons, wash it, fold it, and return it freshly laundered completely free of charge.
- **Free Laundromat Nights:** Hosts periodic community events at local laundromats to pay for and facilitate free laundry cycles for residents.

### I Wish for Prom
Originally established in 2007 by the late Mandi Himler, this formal gown collection and donation system now operates as its own DBA under Luke 3:11 Ministries.
- **Mission:** Removing financial barriers for local high school students so they can experience prom night without financial stress.
- **Boutique Experience:** Partners with local boutiques (Finding Center, Maddie's on Main, and Cool Kids Resale) to recycle previously-loved formal wear and provide free gowns, shoes, and matching accessories through a personalized, dignity-first shopping experience.
