LUKE 3:11 MINISTRIES

Luke 3:11 Ministries is dedicated to reducing poverty in Ohio through any means possible, including but not limited to distributing no-cost laundry soap and peanut butter jelly sandwiches.

Our Ministry

Experience love and healing through serving our neighbors together!

Peanut Butter Jelly Truck

Our mission is to share our extra food with the hungry, so our family bought an antique ice cream truck to facilitate the distribution of free peanut butter jelly sandwiches to Marion, Ohio.

We now have at least one of our 3 PBJ Trucks out in some part of Marion every afternoon of the week, and serve over 30K meals every year.

Lumpy Loads of Laundry

Lumpy Loads of Laundry consists of several laundry-related projects:

-Free Laundry Detergent!  We collect empty laundry detergent jugs and refill them with homemade detergent to distribute for free to Marion’s needy through our food pantry partners, Salvation Army, Be Ministries and Leapin’ Outreach.

-Free Laundromat Night!  We aim to host a free event at our partner Colonial Coin Laundry every month, funds permitting. (Established 02/09/19)

I Wish for Prom

Originally established in 2007 by the late Mandi Himler, “I Wish for Prom” now operates as its own DBA under Luke 3:11 Ministries. This program recycles previously-loved formal wear for free donation events in partnership with local boutiques, including Finding Center, Maddie’s on Main, and Cool Kids Resale, to ensure every student can experience a magical prom night without financial stress.

Tea with Amy and Bri

Tea with Amy & Bri

Tea with Amy & Bri is out in the world! If you want to sit with us, laugh with us, and walk through life with us as we discuss Luke’s work and the teachings of Jesus, you can tune in wherever you like.

This is our weekly conversation about those who make Luke 3:11 Ministries function, sprinkled with a bit of life, community, faith, and the stories we’re living in real time. Sometimes it’s light, sometimes it’s deep, but we always have the tea in the form of Amy’s Red Letter Moments. We’re waiting for you—grab your cup, join us at the table, and we hope your tea stays warm tonight!
